GrowBiz offer support to social enterprises across rural Scotland. We can offer 1:1 meetings with our friendly advisers for guidance and support to help you identify what you need to get started or to achieve your enterprise goals. From talking through your initial idea, helping you to develop a business strategy or identifying areas where you require training and development. GrowBiz also offer online learning sessions so can upskill in the areas necessary to run a successful enterprise, host informal networking events and have an award winning mentoring programme.

SCDC is the lead body for community development in Scotland. We work directly with community organisations,
community development practitioners, government and other policy makers, and partnerships to help achieve an active, inclusive and just Scotland where communities are strong, equitable and sustainable.
Our support can help you to build
your organisation, increase your impact, plan and evaluate, engage with your wider community, work in partnership with others and strengthen your influence.
Our work includes programmes dedicated to community capacity building, community engagement, community-led health, participatory budgeting, co-production, community-led action research, place-based approaches and the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act. You can find out more about these programmes of work on our website.

The Chamber was founded in 2005 to support and promote the development of social enterprise in the Scottish Borders. We have a passion for supporting social entrepreneurs and work closely with the national social enterprise support organisations to achieve the best outcomes for our members.
