Voluntary Action South Ayrshire

Voluntary Action South Ayrshire (VASA) is the local TSI (Third Sector Interface) in South Ayrshire. VASA is remitted by Scottish Government to support the voluntary sector (Third Sector) in all areas of capacity building, volunteering, representation and social enterprise. VASA can offer this support through various means such as face-to-face, one-to-one meetings, themed forums, networking opportunities and much more. Third Sector Social Enterprises in South Ayrshire, regardless of legal structure, can access support in areas such as governance, policy, business support, volunteering, employability opportunites, funding and anything at all relating to their operations and growth. VASA also facilitate 6 themed forums over the course of a year, one of which focuses on Employability and Social Enterprise. This forum brings networking and information sharing opporutinties for members and also feeds directly into South Ayrshire Community Planning through their Financial Inclusion & Growth SDP. VASA is also part of the National TSI Network and meets collectively with colleagues from all Scottish Local Authority areas to discuss common themes, hear updates nationally from OSCR and SCVO and generally share intelligence and knowledge of the sector and the social enterprse landscape.
