The Community Transport Association (CTA) is a charity and membership organisation which leads the UK’s thriving Community Transport movement. Our mission is to ensure everyone, no matter who they are or where they live, has access to local transport which meets their needs. We provide leadership, training, guidance and operational support to local charities, community groups and social enterprises across the UK. We leverage our expertise and experience to empower our members in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland to deliver community solutions to unmet transport needs. We promote excellence in Community Transport through community engagement, training, resources, research, publications, advice, events, consultancy and project support for transport which is always for a social purpose and never for a profit. We amplify the collective voice of Community Transport operators to make a better transport system, a more equal society and a more sustainable planet.
